I love being a children’s author and illustrator!
My first picture book, “The Bear and the Hug,” is a charming rhyming tale about a Bear who wakes to a world where hugs do not exist.
As a military spouse, I hope that my book can help young readers navigate difficult situations like deployment, distance, and illness.
Bear has been on wonderful adventures - and has even been featured on TV!

As well as being an award-winning children’s illustrator, I’ve painted everything from beloved pets and favorite characters to mountain landscapes and military planes.
I love experimenting with different art techniques, and have created commissions in pencil, charcoal, acrylics, and digital formats.
