Yes!
One of the greatest things about being an author is getting to share the magic of storytelling and inspire the next generation of creative thinkers.
I host whole-school assemblies, classroom visits, and high-school workshops.
My visits are tailored to each grade. I can run author Q&As, book readings, and short activities related to the publishing journey.
Please contact me to discuss availability, content, and price. I’d love to be there!

Of course! I love meeting new friends!
I'm a dual citizen, both British and American. I miss Marks & Spencer, afternoon teas, and British sarcasm (and no, I never met the Queen).
I'm a military spouse. My husband is an Air Force pilot, and we've gone through 6 deployments, countless TDYs, and 2 bases together.
I work for Disney! I somehow managed to get my dream job as an Adventure Guide. I started working for the Mouse back in 2010 at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris in 2012, and now, Adventures by Disney!
Most of the time, I fill silence with stupid Dad jokes, and I'm not ashamed.
I'm a cheese fiend. If you need a way to win my heart, bring me halloumi, melted camembert, a quesadilla, or some mac n cheese. I'm yours.
I used to be a nanny at our old military base. My nickname was "Missa Poppins."
I was born with a cleft palate and therefore I have a slight lisp.
I’m always happy to talk more about my book, art, the military, and more!

“The Bear and the Hug” took about a year to get published - from manuscript submission to final hard copy.
The illustrations took the longest - about 10 months in total! The hardest part was ensuring the characters were consistent on each page. I’m so happy with the end result!

You can find “The Bear and the Hug” on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart.

My husband and I have lived in New Mexico and Florida so far with the Air Force. We’ve met some lifelong friends along the way!
